The SoftCaire DX deluxe mattress system and pump is intended to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers while optimizing the patients comfort. The mattress consists of square cell-on-cell air bladder construction, which is a unique two-layer cell structure providing both alternation therapy and constant support in case of a power outage or transportation needs. The additional spring-loaded air tubes feature springs emplaced within the air tubes to prevent unnecessary bending of tubes and ensure consistent airflow.
